We were instructed by management to cancel our unemployment claims by management. In addition they told us they would deny our unemployment claims. All of this during covid-19. After 5 weeks of not working, and after they got their money from the PPP, they then laid everyone off and only paid the executives leaving over 500 employees hanging out to dry.

I have not been contacted by Mellow Mushroom. I called again to try and get my money back they said I would have to dispute it with my bank, if I wanted my money back.

I was charged twice online. Before picking up my order, MM called me to verify my order at that point they notified me that I was charged twice online, and they would fix the over charge. I went to pick up my order -spoke with the front of the house making sure I wasnt going to be charged twice, when I got home my order was completely wrong. So I paid twice for a meal I didnt eat. I ordered two large cesars salads with anchioves, mushrooms trio, shaved Parmesan with extra sides of Cesar dressing. When I opened my salads up when I got home- all that was in to go boxes was chopped Romaine, croutons and blue cheese dressing. Totally the wrong order. This was during the shut down so they closed at 8pm. So I couldnt call to get the right order nor did any call me back when I tried contacting MM. I tried calling again and they hung up on me saying they couldnt hear me over all the noise in the restaurant. So I have never gotten my money back. One charge was for $27.11 and other charge was for $23.78., This took place May 24. 2020. Not sure why the different amounts. I have my bank statement showing both charges, taking place the same night. I also have the voice mail of them calling me trying to verify my order before I went to pick it up, sadly, I did not receive the right order, even more I was charged a little over $50.00 for a meal I did not order or eat.

My husband and our two children decided to try the location in Branson,MO. We are locals and decided to try the store on 6/23. I was excited to try something new and it was the most awful experience. There was a giant hair dust ball under our table. The server was less than enthusiastic. She seemed like she would rather be anywhere else and like our questions were an inconvenience to her. My husband ordered the mushroom sandwich and she asked him if he wanted a half or full portion. When he asked how large the full was she could only say that it was served on French bread. Then when we asked about the portion size of the kids Mac n cheese she could only say that it was served in a bowl. Either she does not know the menu to answer simple questions or she just does not care about the quality of service. There was multiple time when she passed our table and never checked if we like the appetizer or Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was not that good and my daughters did not eat any of it. Instead of checking on her tables she was just standing around the bar or server area. The only time she asked how our food was after I asked the hostess to see a manager about my sandwich. I ordered the California club and I should have realized the club would be cold but the description does say grilled chicken. I was assuming it would be hot. I didn't even try my sandwich as it was unappealing. The bacon looked like it was a day or two old and the grease was caked While it looked half cooked. It took awhile to get our food. I'm not sure if the kitchen was behind or if our server was too busy standing around. We wont be back to this location or even another Mellow Mushroom. It was a complete waste of money for a young family that is on budget and looking to try a fun restaurant.

I was there with my family it was 6 of us. I had a hard time getting seating, then they took our order. By the time we got our pizza they burnt the cheese pizza, the server by the name of Day told us well you’re the one that wanted it crunchy. I told her that there is a thing called crunchy and there another thing called burnt that’s what we got. She got an attitude when I told her about the food service then my daughter had a coupon for the pretzel bites. I spoke to the manager and he stated that the cook did not double pan the pizza that he burnt. I am so surprised I got the service I did because we love mellow mushroom.

Ch eyed my card and didn’t get my food

I paid for an order online and the cost of the item came off my card. When calling mellow mushroom to confirm my order they said that they did not get my order. When I explained that the amount had come off my card they told me that it had not come off my card and that they couldnt do anything. This was my last few dollars to my name.

Lemonade smelled and tasted like urine

Don't Went to Mellow Mushroom in Foley, AL, and ordered take out special. Had a picnic and daughter thought something smelled like urine after the lemonade spilled a little while pouring. Everyone disregarded it and then once we started to taste the lemonade, we realized what the issue was. My little nephew with down syndrome had already had half a glass. The next day he was violently ill and vomiting. I have been unable to find a way to contact Mellow Mushroom on their website - wanted to let the corporate office know. Filled out the survey and didn't see anything there for additional comments. I found this site by searching for email away to contact the corporate office.

I ordered a medium follow your heart cheese pizza with pineapple, jalapeños, olives and mushrooms. Instead I got a full dairy pizza and they put onions instead of pineapple. Disclaimer* I got lit at the bar waiting for takeout so when they gave it to me I downed like 4 pieces without realizing but guys Ive been a vegan for a year now wtf am I gonna do.

I went at the beginning of May to curbside at happy valley location, this was my first time eating a pizza from Mellow Mushroom. Upon reviewing the pizza at home, I noticed it was not cooked thoroughly. I then proceed to call the manager to let him know about the incident and how unsatisfied I was with the product. He seemed eager to get off the phone and very dismissive. He did not mind his product was not cooked properly say oh ok thanks and hung up. I have emailed the corporate which I think is closed due to COVID-199. I have reached out on Facebook they assured me 2 weeks ago someone would contact me. Nobody has.

My husband and I placed a curbside order at the Carytown location in Richmond, Virginia. Christina was very rude when she approached our vehicle and I called the Manager John the next day who was to call me back and he never did. I will never go back to that location. My pretzel bites were also burned.

These restaurants are filthy, not properly cleaned, they smell terrible, they employ the worst people they can find, the food looks nothing like it should, it's overpriced, the managers are drug addicts or alcoholics. The employees are all smoking weed at work behind the building. They have roaches and rodents running around in the kitchen. Corporate doesn't care to do anything about it, probably because the place was founded by a bunch of drug addicts and alcoholics. If you are thinking about buying a franchise don't buy into this one. It's just going to hemorrhage money and be a burden on you and your family. There are plenty of other franchises to buy into that don't promote a drug addict as their mascot and are profitable.

Constant mistakes

We have been ordering pizzas from mellow mushroom for over 3 years. In the past six months the one in Mt Dora Florida has gone severely down hill!!! The only thing they are consistent with is mistakes. Tonight I ordered a holy shitake large pizza. As usual they didnt make it correctly. We have been trying to support local businesses during this pandemic but we will never order another pizza from them!!! I even told them on the phone that this was their last chance and they blew it!

Visited the Gulf to Bay in Clearwater. What was very disturbing with the coronavirus especially was that they took plates wiped them with a filthy looking rag which was thrown either on the next plate or right where they wrote the bills. No sanitizer was ever used by the servers nor did they ever (at least) wash their hands. This continued for the inside customers as well as outside where the servers used their bare hands. No one seems to take Cleanliness very serious especially with the coronavirus

The online order was placed and paid for while restuarant was closed. All online information states restuarant is still doing delivery and pick up orders but no one is answering the phone. When we went for pick up there were multiple other people there and no one working. It is money that is being taking away when people aren't working with no product in return.
