My family has been a customer of Mellow Mushroom located at 5575 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Dunwoody, GA 30338 for the last 23 years. Last night I picked up 2 large pizzas from the store and got home to serve my guests. The ingredients of pepperoni and sausage were tasteless, and the crust did not have the typical 'butter' taste. We had to throw them out, and someone commented we should have ordered from Domino's. I rarely write these letters of complaint, but I am concerned the quality level, of late, has not reached the high-quality standards we are used to from Mellow Mushroom. You may want to look into their process of attempting to make an excellent pizza.

Marc Weinstein just spent $132. His wife requested a margarita with a double shot.
We were told that for that drink, they can't do 2 shots, but for normal drinks, they can. Kennedy, the manager (Ft. Myers on Daniels), said it was state law. We eat out here 4 to 5 times a week and have never experienced this strange drink-specific law.
Quite the opposite of your mellow founders.
Won't return here or at the location in St. Louis where we also live.

The call just hung up. No answer. Having to write this much when my message is very short is now what is making me pissed.

Waiter and waitresses were more interested in what was going on with themselves instead of interested in serving the customers. Food was great but took a long time to get our check. Customers first
When customers come into a restaurant they need to be tended to quickly. Waitress and Waiters were more interested in something they had going on amongst themselves

My first complaint to any company in my 70 years is. Do you think that if I see your prices before I go to checkout that I may not go to checkout??
This seems to be a growing tactic intended to evade showing non competitive prices. Best pizza I ever had!
Put your prices on The Menu if youre ever gonna get my familys business. Of course yall dont need my business.

I came to pickup an online order that was $36 to turn around have my car vandalized by a customer that walked out of their facility. $36 turned into possibility $200.
I had to make a police report no reason the staff and management didnt call 911.
Mark Whitifred not a good manager. I want corporate to reach out immediately about the damage to my vehicle.

Anniversary coupon for free pizza with purchase doesn't work at the store or online. It does show in my online account, but gets an error message.
Customer service said that half and half pizza was the problem.
No choices made coupon work. Called customer service again with no return call.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with discount on future orders.
She then acknowledged we were there and said our food would be out soon as it wasnt ready yet We waited 30 plus minutes and called again and said we hadnt heard or seen anyone. She then told us our ordered hadnt been started but she would call us when it was We had frozen food in the car so we went home. We waited 45 minutes and called again. We were then told they didnt have our order We started to put it in again and was told they would do it on the fly which sounded like right away to us.
She then said she had no idea when our order would be done. We asked for the manager. Dustin said he couldnt tell us when it would be done as they were very busy. We asked could he put it right in as he is the manager and should be able to do it.
He said he couldnt. So he couldnt do a thing to get our order ready.
We wound up getting food from somewhere else but it ruined the night time wises as well as our craving for pizza and steak sandwiches. We are so unhappy with the service.

Hello - Ive been a huge fan of mellow mushroom for years. Specifically I frequent the MM in River City just north of Jacksonville weekly.
Ive known most of the employees. However, the prices have gone significantly higher and portion size has really decreased. For example, the calzones are close to 1/2 the size they were pre COVID and way more expensive. MM seemed to increase prices after COVID more than most to the point that getting a calzone with 3 beers and tip is over $50.
Im sorry, thats too much. Also, the service at the river city location has really declined. Last night they were very busy but there were seats at the bar. I sat at the bar for 15 minutes without being acknowledged by either bartender.
I did something Ive never done, I walked out.
Ive been going there for years and used to know the bartenders, but theyve had significant turnover and the new bartenders arent very good.
After this experience and a few others before that, but mainly the price, me and my wife have decided to remove mellow from our list of restaurants we frequent. We go out a lot.
Its very expensive.

THERE ARE TWO TRANSACTIONS THAT WERE DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT - ONE FOR R730,14 AND ANOTHER FOR R618,00 (I AM FROM SOUTH AFRICA).
PLEASE REVERSE THE SECOND TRANSACTION (R730,14 IMMEDIATELY). IF YOU DON'T ANSWER IN THE FOLLOWING FEW DAYS, I WILL BE TAKING THIS FURTHER.

We have a gift card $50, ordered pizza and when we paid with card it was refused no money .. now we are trying to find out where money went, the business said it was an on line card and they cant help..

Went to Columbia SC restaurant and it was 65 degrees in the upstairs dining room. Mentioned to the server and the response was.
Yeah it's really cold in here.
No mention of fixing the problem or talking to manager. Hard to enjoy the meal when so uncomfortable.

I called into the mellow mushroom to place an order I was pulling up outside I asked the customer service lady is this River City mellow mushroom she replied yes took my order I told her I was outside already right in the very front I wanted to get my stuff delivered I was in the handicap space I asked her if that was okay She said yes I was out there getting the news that my granddaughter is having twins and I was so excited on the phone next thing I know it was an hour can I call back to the number I found out it was in another city it was not River City was in Orlando so she took my order by then I know you knew I wasn't outside because when I first made the order she was supposed to bring my drink out and get my card She never came never called back I told the manager on site at River City what happened he didn't have any empathy to offer me half off or anything after all of that and it was his customer service represented that made the mistake so now they're not getting my business anymore I wish I could talk to a district manager or corporate!!! It's not that good that I need to go there I can do without it and I willnone!!! No elwayno way

It was dark and I was driving I called a restaurant from my phone I asked specifically is this River City branch that I was right in front of pulling in and the person replied to me yes so I placed an order I was outside waiting for about an hour and when I called back I found out that that was not the correct? In fact that was the restaurant in Orlando and I'm sitting in front of the one in Jacksonville so when I explained this whole ordeal to the manager there he really could care less and didn't even try to offer me a discount cuz I had waited in his employee gave me the wrong information didn't offer me anything so I paid almost $20 for what waiting an hour because of a mistake that your employee made that was really inappropriate so I'm calling to get some type of compensation for your employees wasting of my time my phone number is 407-369-****

Mellow mushroom in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our last mellow mushroom experience has us questioning if we will ever eat there again.
We ordered a take-out order our favorite pizza the same thing we get every time. when we opened it at home I first noticed it wasnt a perfect circle and some pizza slices were higher than the other pizza slices, but I brushed it off thought maybe the dough was a little bit weird this time around, but I was Im eating I noticed that the toppings we ordered underneath there is another layer of cheese and pepperoni and when I saw that I was in disbelief. I thought there is no way that they took random leftover pizza slices, placed it in our box put our toppings on and baked it again, but sure enough that is exactly what happened. as I began to look under our baked toppings, I noticed there is spaces in between the cuts of the pizza, and when I looked underneath the pizza, the pizza dough was not cooked evenly on the different slices.
It was not the same color. I would love to send photos proving that this has happened. I am so disappointed because this was our favorite pizza place.
It is so disgusting to think that we were eating other peoples leftover pizzas and the quality of the pizza did not taste good either. We are truly just so disappointed and disgusted.
